Formed from the coalition of the northern tribes against the Thracen Republic in first contact war, the Kingdom of Vladof has been an absolute monarchy led by the same bloodline since inception. Heavily xenophobic, the country has created an all volunteer defence force against the repeated invasions and incursions by the expansionist Thracen Republic. As their military is defensive in nature, the Kingdom’s strength lies in heavily armoured infantry formations supplemented by powerful cavalry. Having recovered the ruins of several Thracen airships from the last skirmish, the Vladof has formed an air fleet of their own.

Waynestown
A small agricultural settlement of 800, Waynestown serves a secondary role as a major mustering station for the nearby region. To this end Waynestown has an unusually well-developed commercial center, and boasts a complete spectrum of goods and services: Big Pot’s Apothecary, Arms ‘R US Blacksmith, Second Chance Orphanage for the Lost and Unruly, Swinging Mary Tavern and Inn, and The Smoking Wand Magic Shop. Presided over by Lord Fiddle in Waynes Keep and protected by Guard Commander Schonfield the town is surrounded by a high stone wall and guarded by four ballista batteries.
The town consists of the keep, the barracks, the marketplace, the apartments, and the surrounding agricultural settlements.

Towerstone
Towerstone is the largest commercial port in the Kingdom of Vladof and gets its name from the signature 80 foot tall reinforced ballista tower. Topped with a massive long range ballista and bristling with a dozen more ballista and catapult batteries, the port town serves as the front line against any Thracen invasion. Being little more than a trading port and military outpost, the towns major establishments are Cid’s Special’s Pawn shop and the Broken Jaw Gambling Inn. Much to chagrin of the merchants and military based there, a thriving criminal market has developed where anything can be bought.
The town consists of the docks, warehouses, downtown, apartments, and military quarter.
